Create a Touch Space…another Abilitations Environment

Enter a room or hallway where everything is touchable. Different tactile media beg to be touched and the sign as you enter says "Please Touch." Children (and adults) of all abilities are encouraged to explore the different textures. What do you witness? Focused attention, improvements in verbalization, motor planning, coordination, an of course a smile.
